Keep notifications out of your recording
Nothing ruins a perfect take like a phone buzzing against the mic. Flowphonic can quiet things for you.
Turn it on in Settings, give Flowphonic Do Not Disturb access once, and it switches to priority-only while you record, then puts your setting back.
What it does
When you start recording, Flowphonic sets Do Not Disturb to priority only. When you stop, it restores whatever setting you had before. It's optional and off until you turn it on.
Set it up
- Open Settings in Flowphonic and turn on the Do Not Disturb option.
- Android will ask you to give the app Do Not Disturb access. Allow it in Android's system settings (this is a one-time step).
- Come back and record. Notifications stay quiet during the take.
Why it asks for access
Android treats Do Not Disturb as a sensitive permission, so apps can't change it without you saying yes. Flowphonic only asks if you turn the feature on, and you can revoke it in system settings any time.
Calls and priority contacts
Priority-only means the things you've marked as priority can still get through. Check your Android Do Not Disturb settings to see who and what that includes before an important shoot.
Quick answers
Does Flowphonic change my Do Not Disturb setting permanently?
No. It switches to priority-only while you record and restores your previous setting afterwards.
Is it on by default?
No. It's optional and only asks for access if you turn it on.
